Happy New Years! I totally plan to celebrate it until November! (And hopefully, beyond! …if you catch my meaning…)

And (not that they’d ever visit this site… but still!) - I’d  love to share my cheers and prayers to Imad al-Hashemi and Laith Mahdi Latif in Baghdad. You are few of many who wipe away the stains and scars left behind from cowardly suicidal bombers. Although, it could be considered the worst job in Baghdad - it’s also the most important. You are true heroes.  Allah could never love those that bring violence and chaos to the streets with IED’s - but will those that bring peace and healing with brooms and shovels. God bless you.

Now… let’s see how ‘happy’ this new year stays, eh? Any bets? I say until March…
